No. Decode It does not store or process raw business or customer records from your warehouse. The platform only processes metadata, query history, and transformation artifacts.
The platform requires read-only access to your warehouse. Customers should ensure a read-only role is configured within Snowflake to maintain data security.
Connection credentials are encrypted and managed securely using AWS Secrets Manager. User authentication is handled through AWS Cognito to ensure account security.
Upon account deletion, your access to the platform will be terminated immediately. All associated metadata and processed history are permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

The platform uses large language models to analyze SQL query history, transformation artifacts, and connected metadata. The AI uses this context to draft clear and accessible business definitions.
No. Your metadata and query history are processed solely for your account and are never used to train or improve foundational AI models.
While in beta, services are provided as-is. We recommend that users review and verify AI-generated definitions and lineage maps to ensure they meet their specific business requirements.
You retain full ownership of your data assets and SQL logic. You also own the specific definitions and lineage configurations generated for your account after they have been reviewed and approved.
